Good bye, old friend
In 1985, Nancy Loucks published the first issue of the Carousel News & Trader magazine (originally called the Carousel Trader). It wasn't much...Just seven or eight mimeographed pages with recent info on happenings in the carousel world at that time. Due to Nancy's love for carousels and hard work, it didn't take long for the magazine to evolve into the number one source of carousel news for hobbyists and the carousel industry world-wide.

Though they're wood and not brightly painted, you know you've seen them before; of course, it was on a carousel. Well, according to Bud Ellis, owner, many people do ride by, stop-back up-and look again. Some go upstairs and talk to Bud. He always finds time to share his love of carving and carousels...
